Home:Welcome to my webpage! My research focuses on intergenerational strategies to meet community needs, including shared site care programs (e.g., co-located adult and child care centers), staff development, and student training. I teach courses on adult development, community services, and intergenerational programming, and I lead study abroad courses to South Africa and Sweden focusing on lifespan community services. Outreach in the community includes local and international consultation, training, and program evaluation for intergenerational and community programs. I am currently exploring means to address contemporary community health, care, and education needs with intergenerational approaches. These projects allow me to collaborate with schools, long-term care programs, and colleagues in research and Cooperative Extension across disciplines as we involve youth and elders in building community capacity. Please use the tabs above to learn more about my research and the programs with which I am involved. Feel free to contact me for further information.
